New ITOs for Welsh Bowls
The Welsh Bowls Umpires Association are delighted to have four newly qualified
International Technical Officials, part of their bid for support through the World Bowls development strategy.
Having submitted an application in the Autumn of 2015, the WB regional director for Europe, Andy Ewens has been working with the Welsh Umpires Panel to identify methods and processes for the recruitment and development of officials to support the sport throughout Wales.
The four successful candidates are:
- Huw Jones & Paul Watkins Monmouthshire
- Keith Jones Mid Glamorgan
- Alun Rees South Glamorgan
